Up early, 6 AM!
Didn't want to ne late.
Left Tustin before 9 AM ...
only about thirty miles to Long Beach ...
but you can never be sure with LA traffic.
These two - two day events filled months ago.
I only got in because of a cancellation.

And so we started the first of two days ...
using acrylics to coat both sides of 12 sheets
of heavy watercolor paper.
A flurry of activity for a big project ...
with our choice of color ...
& application method ...

then back to work.
Hours of feverish work, ending with
stacks of multi-layered sheets waiting for tomorrow.
Because of freeway traffic... I took PCH home.
And it looked like this as I got home.
A great day, and another tomorrow.
