Day 1217: Spray paint, paper, acrylics ... Oh my!

redhead, collages, photo & digital

Last Saturday was the the "Spray Paint+" on canvas class ...
which happened during my 5 day Grandma TLC tour of duty,
the arrival of very special company from Tucson,
and the Annual Awards Banquet!
All on the same day.

Life is like that sometimes, right?
More things than you think you can get done in a day ...
but somehow you do.

a full house for my newest hair-brained idea for a class.
It was my first time teaching this and it seemed to work.

We worked with the provided stretched canvas,

Montana spray paints ...

collage materials ...

gel medium ...

 and acrylics.

Lots of playing ...

experimenting ...

and fun.

Can you tell we had 3 hours of fun?

I was so impressed with ...

 the variety ...

 the individuality ...

and creativity.

And, we also had a community canvas ...

that everyone added to and signed,
then we drew from those names and ...
the winner was Macy, who took it home.

This class will be offered again ...

A smile for Wednesday ...
