Day 1321: Campus creatives create.

Mai,  18 x 24 acrylic

For awhile now, twice each semester,
Professor Dru Maurer has invited me to teach two of her
Cal State Fullerton University art classes.

A two hour class, so starting with quick demos ...

of four quick drawing assignments.
Non-dominant hand, not looking at the page, free style and ...
drawing from an old school photo.

These artists were fantastic!

Then I asked them to take the one out of the four  drawings
that they wanted to expand on, with collage & mixed media ...

and WOW!

WOW ...

 and more WOW!

Then on to another quick demo for "stamp people" ...

using a postage stamp, they created ...

magic!

I asked for exaggeration, imagination & fun ...

     and they delivered!

        Big time!

What a pleasure to watch these campus creatives create!
Thank you Professor Maurer.

Congratulations to OLU girls varsity basketball team ...

winning the CIF title for second year!

See more here.

A smile for Tuesday ...
