Day 1663: What a weekend!

sidelook, graphite, acrylic & crayon

Saturday & Sunday I was lucky to be in a
9 - 5 PM art workshop with master teacher ...
artist, author & product creator, Dina Wakley.
Engaging, down to earth, knowledgeable, funny & kind!
If this looks to be a "fun" weekend, you're so smart!

Held in Crescendoh Studio, Santa Ana, CA,
Day 1 was titled Finding Joy in Abstraction.

We discussed mark making, values & composition
in abstraction, learning from Dina's demonstration.

Working on large paper with acrylics ...

& a variety of techniques.

The first day ended with show & tell.
Below are just four of Dina's student's outstanding works.

I am sorry not to know the artists name to credit.

Day 2 was Expressive Drawing with Dina Wakley.

We started by using acrylics randomly on large paper.
