GH#3 2nd year mission veteran, GH#2 3rd year mission veteran

but this is about ...
Grandhunks #2 & 3 who are on a real mission.

 GH's #2 & 3

As a senior & sophomore at Orange Lutheran H.S.

they are volunteering their spring break
with 200 fellow students ...

in Bishop, a city in Inyo County, California.
Bishop is north of the Owens Valley at an elevation of 4,150 feet.
Warm clothes & sleeping bags are a necessity.

No frills travel, no phones, no tv or wi-fi ...

This well exceeds the minimum of 20 hours of Service to Society that OLU students must complete yearly.

Working together they set up tents ...

cots, sleeping bags ...

everyone works ...

GH#3

& some cook.

Cold at night but glorious during the daytime.

Orange Lutheran High School Mission program strives
to provide opportunities where students are engaged with
Bishop's elderly & the Bishop Paiute reservation people/culture.
Helping with repairs, landscaping & Christian fellowship.
Memories for a lifetime.
