Monday evening, in preparation for Tuesday's presentation
at Palos Verdes Art Center, I was invited to spend the night
with artist/friend and PVAC member, Lois Olsen.

This view from the deck doesn't do justice to the view,
since the Hollywood sign and mountains hid behind clouds.
Nevertheless, I thought it was breathtaking.

Lois is an accomplished artist, collector, world traveler & cook
... so I was in very good hands.

I got permission to share a few of her beautiful artworks with you

and my photos really
don't do them justice.

So much talent. Thanks you Lois!

While at PVAC, I visited one of their galleries ...
featuring local school children's art work.

What an impressive setting and what beautiful work.

Amazing work by local Palos Verdes students
& the many who made this exhibit possible.

And, second Wednesday of the month is Eastside Art group ...

palette art (r) by Sherrill Landers

A smaller group today, Libby Williamson, outstanding artist,
taught us acrylics on canvas then free motion sewing onto denim.

Linda, Libby, Sherrill & Erin. Norma left early.

Thanks to Libby our great teacher and ...
to Erin for providing our clubhouse!
A very fun group!

Throwback Thursday ...
