We started Tuesday in Lebanon.

Cousin Bob picked flowers from his garden so
Donna, Martha, Katha, WW & I visited
family grave sites with flowers.
We revisited Zionsville & had lunch at Cobblestone,
followed by an ice cream cone at Scoop.
All a tradition, as we have done in years past.
Cousins John & Martha delivered us to Indianapolis Airport.

We were early so had plenty of time, we thought.

WW shopped for SM & the 3 Grandhunks...
and we picked up food for the flight.

We found an empty couch & talked about the great trip
and then the fun began.
We were re-routed & delayed in security ...

These are WonderWoman's texts to SuperMan :

We were the last to board our flight,
so they required that we check our carry-ons.

After a little maintenance delay & we were off!

AA Captain said we were 25 minutes out from LAX!

over LA, approaching LAX

crossing 405 freeway, a minute before landing.

landing LAX

A wait to taxi to gate 46, a wait to deplane,
a wait to get luggage, a walk to the car ...
but gratefully home safe and sound.

Once we picked up our "checked" luggage ...
WW drove my lil' hybrid from LAX to her house,
4 freeways, 1 hour.
Then I drove home, 20 minutes.

1 tired Grandma &  Grandhunks 1,2 & 3!

WW said stand up straight, I said, I am.
Good to be home, and a great 6 day trip!
To all a good night!

A smile for Wednesday ...
