It's a tradition, not earth-shaking or news worthy,
but hopefully blog worthy?
Valerie & I headed out to beautiful Laguna Beach
and our version of an art marathon.

All 3 venues ... lots of walking in record time (for us) ...

First was Festival of the Arts ...

 And, their 2017 Junior Art Exhibit •  Pre-K - Grade 12

"Self portrait" by Mimi Singh, Kindergarten

Then a walk to Art A-Fair where tradition dictates ...

a stop at the photo booth. Lovely.
Then another walk to the Sawdust Festival!

Met with music and food venues everywhere ...
and then I met mobile artist, Sara Kirk!

Like me, Sara doesn't like me have her picture taken, but
she allowed me to, as I just love her face! Thank you Sara!

One of these beautiful mobiles went home with me!
What talent.

"Sawdust" is built into the hillside, waterfalls & cool area ...

& so many lush plants flourish.

We met mixed media artist, teacher & friend, Cherrill Doty.

About now the marathoners were getting hungry ...

One more tradition:
The Sawdust Festival repaints their vintage VW bus each year ...

and we take a picture in or by this photo op.
Then we wait for the Laguna Shuttle to our car & home.
All 3 venues, lunch & traffic = 4-1/2 hours!
A marathon record.
Thanks for tagging along.

A smile for Wednesday ...
